Our local Leicester based charity are keen to appoint a Facilities Officer for a part-time temporary position, working 20hours per week Monday to Friday.The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team to deliver facilities and operational services to a charity.This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills who has experience of working within facilitiesmanagement team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance.The successful applicant will need to co-ordinate and complete when due planned preventative maintenance activities allocated to you. Whichcould be either in-house or subcontracted services. Ensurethat anyrecommendations following a planned maintenancevisit are followed through to completion. Training will be provided for this position.Be able to conduct the following weekly/monthly tests, fire alarm tests, standby generator tests, annual guttering cleaning. Be member of the fire team, be trained in the use of the fire panel and fire extinguishers.Plus, respond to reactive maintenance jobs as they come in, prioritising jobs and completing them in a safe and timely manner.
