Job Description

PHP Developer required for my client in Leicester, Leicestershire. Duties and Key responsibilities:

  • Work within Legacy code to implement new features, whilst also improving the code.
  • Develop API End points against technical and functional requirements.
  • Code within accepted standards, such as PSR-12 and similar variants.
  • Developing microservices using AWS and serverless
Required Skills:
  • Between 2 - 3 years commercial experience with PHP.
  • PHP 7; HTML; CSS; jQuery, including AJAX;
  • Gitlab & JIRA
  • MySQL
  • Ability to multitask whilst maintaining a good level of attention to detail.
  • Plays well in a remote team environment.
  • Understanding of OOP concepts.
  • Basic AWS knowledge (S3, SNS, SES)
  • Serverless framework
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and how your changes impact the wider product.
Desirable Skills:
  • Further AWS Knowledge (e.g. Lambda, Dynamo, API Gateway)
  • Vue.js Framework
