Job Description

They are currently recruiting for a personal assistant to join their team. The company provide warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and installation services to theretail sectors to enhance their instore presence.They are a fun bunch with strong family values at the heart of who they are and what they do. They value integrity, positivity, drive, determination, and enthusiasm and are desperately searching for someone who can help them deliver their eye watering growthtargets whilst maintaining a sense of humour and focused common sense.They have been operating for over 25 years and have established themselves as an essential arm of thei clients in store works. Being passionate about delivering the highest possible quality to clients is key to the business while also understanding thatthey work in a highly reactive environment. Projects are across multiple ranges including cosmetics, tobacco & vape, FMCG and all other retail environments.This is a new role for the company and therefore is one that you can shape to make your own.The candidate they are looking for will be a skilled, dedicated, and experienced Personal Assistant to the company directors. You will work closely with the sales director to ensure that the business is able to maintain its current pace of growth and continueto expand. As a key member of the team, you will play a key role in making sure that the company runs smoothly and ensure the efficiency of the directors’ schedules and daily activities.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate directors calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and organise meetings, including agenda creation, document preparation, and follow-up action items.
  • Act as a liaison between directors and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and handling enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct research, compile reports, and prepare presentations to support directors decision-making processes.
  • Manage and prioritise incoming correspondence, emails, and calls, ensuring urgent matters are promptly addressed.
  • Assist in organising company events, conferences, and board meetings, including logistics, venue bookings, and catering arrangements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned to support directors.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Business Support Administrator or similar role, preferably supporting directors.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Confidence to support and challenge the directors in their thinking.
Key Facts:
  • Hours – 9am – 5pm, one hour lunch.
  • Holiday – Standard holiday allowance, all bank holidays taken on date.
