The Covid vaccine programme is probably the fastest paced programme in currently in NHS England. It has delivered millions of doses of vaccine in the last year and is constantly facing new challenges, such as new coronavirus variants and the developmentof a seasonal booster programme. The team is broadening the scope of its work to include analysis to support long-standing programmes (such as seasonal flu vaccination) and new initiatives (such as monkeypox vaccination and the MMR catch-up programme)Data, analysis and insight are at the heart of programme. Detailed performance data and analysis inform the daily operational delivery of this dynamic programme, with performance and insight analyses routinely being seen by the programme SRO, the CEO, theSecretary of State and the Prime Minister.Insight & Analysis Undertake analysis and insight that can be used to improve the delivery of COVID vaccination programme and other vaccination programmes;Responsible for providing analysis, insights and commentary to key internal clients to support recommendations and decision making;Responsible for analysing and interpreting complex and or/ contentious information and produce reports considering a range of options in a consistent way to develop strategies to address programme challenges;Responsible for engaging with agreed relevant external bodies and providing information to a range of stakeholders in either a presentation to a group or to individualsPresent information and issues, explaining issues, to stakeholdersOperational To work with other senior members of the team to ensure delivery of the team and wider programmes objective and engage and liaise with key stakeholders, in particular;To support the delivery of day to day activities and projectsEnsure efficient use of resourcesTo manage and drive delivery of a range of initiatives and projectsTo operate in a political and sensitive environmentMethodology, Process & Policy development Identify risks/lessons learnt and make suggestions for improvement based on own experiences;Maintain key communication channels with other data analysis teams to drive standards of data management and analysis in NHS England, share skills between the functions and to ensure alignment of analysis activities to minimise duplication;Work with external consultants and providers as appropriate to support the ongoing development of data analysis
