Job Description

Performance Analyst – 3 moth initial contract – Hybrid – Outside IR35A performance Analyst is required on a contract basis to support a leading e-commerce organisation to ensure the baseline performance of the application suite is not hindered by security patches onto the hosting infrastructure, code releases or any otherchanges.About the TeamRole Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design processes and influence the design to ensure performance is met when the systems and services are tested.
  • Create appropriate load test coverage to validate new features as well as the load regression, developing load test plans, models, scripts and scenarios with their monitored KPIs as required.
  • Performing Stability, Stress, Reliability & Capacity Tests of the system and its components
  • Write scripts in order to create load scenarios and execute test cases in an automated fashion.Managing the versions of the load scripts and scenarios using CM tools
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience operating as a Performance Analyst
  • Front end Page speed testing and optimisation experience, i.e. use of Lighthouse, WebPageTest or similar
  • Good understanding of Google Web Vitals.
  • Experience of NeoLoad, LoadRunner, Gatling, JMeter or similar load testing tools
  • Experience in analysis of performance test results and the ability to present concise and accurate information to Senior Management
  • Extensive knowledge of Performance testing methodologies, tools & scripting
  • Strong background in a software quality assurance role
  • Azure DevOps and Automation experience (Highly desirable)
  • Experience of Microservice architectures and API load testing (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience with Dynatrace and Kibana/Grafana (Highly Desirable)
Role Summary:
  • Role: Performance Analyst
  • 3 months initial with view of extension
  • IR35: Outside IR35 pending individual assessment.
  • Location: Leicester 1 day per week
  • £400 - £450 per day paid to your PSC or Umbrella Company
