Job Description

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with forward thinking organisation who are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join the team. There will be progression opportunities within the business. They are based in modern offices where freeparking is available and offer a flexible hybrid working from home policy.Role:The position will join a growing Payroll team and will be responsible for processing and running a large number of weekly/monthly payrolls.

  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure all employee related data is correctly entered into the Payroll System
  • Answers employees queries in respect of payroll, referring any complex issues to the appropriate level / manager
  • Responsible for the accurate inputting of data, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Ensure all documentation is correctly filed, in order that financial auditors can be satisfied in their audit, via the efficient recovery of key documents of initial entry
  • Work within existing procedures and processes; however, there will occasionally be the need for more adaptive thinking, particularly when dealing with more complex or unusual queries
Person:The successful candidate will:
  • Previous experience of working in a payroll/HR role
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team
