FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Payments Administrator/Accounts AssistantMaternity Cover 12 Months - Full Time/30 Hours a week, this role is available on a Part Time basis too.Profile: We are looking for a confident individual with previous experience dealing with the payment of subcontractor weekly (labour only) invoices. Our successful candidate will be a team player who is willing to liaise with our Quantity Surveyors and resolve queries. The candidate should possess excellent attention to detail and able to work on own initiative. A competitive package is on offer for the candidate with the right skills and experience.Job Summary: Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for carrying out financial duties to support the business, in accordance with the business vision and objectives. You will work closely with the Finance Team to make sure that objectives are met; continually seeking opportunities for improvement in processes, ways of working and productivity.Responsibilities and Duties: Input new starters and set up of new subcontract accounts HMRC verification of new subcontractors Input timesheets into accounts software Raise weekly bacs submissions ready for approval Monthly CIS submissions Payment of Vat invoices/labour agency invoices Checking all HMRC requirements are adhered to for Construction Industry Scheme and Domestic Reverse Charge (Training will be provided) Weekly reporting of supervision ratios and prelims Retention release payments Group labour recharge invoices Makes recommendations to improve processes, procedures, and productivitySkills and experience: Experience in a similar role is desirable Willingness to learn High level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail Good organisational skills and administration skills Self-discipline, with good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities Team player, supportive of departmental colleagues
