Job Description

PART TIME PAYROLLERRECfinancial are delighted to be recruiting for this Leicester City Centre based Accountancy Practice in the search for an experienced Payroller on a Part time permanent basis 25 to 27 hours. So, whats the purpose of the payroll roleReporting to the Manager, you will support all aspects of payroll within the business to contribute to the achievement of financial objectives. What are the main aspects of the payroll role

  • Sage Payroll
  • Setting up new payrolls, starters, leavers, etc.
  • Dealing with PAYE, online submissions, SSP, SMP, AEOs, student loans etc
  • Processing payments via BACS
  • Year End processes
  • Dealing with HMRC
  • Liaising with clients, partners and Managers to ensure all information is received correctly
  • Keeping up to date with all the necessary legislation
  • RTI, informing clients on RTI and Pension Reforms
Who do we want - Payroller
  • Minimum of 2 years within a similar role.
  • Previous Payroll experience
  • Accountancy Practice experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Effective communication skills are essential
  • Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills,
  • Ideally have experience in using Sage Line 50 & Sage Payroll
