Job Description

Part-time Payroll Assistant Scientific sector, permanent part-time, 20-25hrs per week (flexible hours), Leicester£25,000 per annum (pro rata), + free car park, + excellent benefits, + yearly bonus (business performance related)Duties:

  • Processing monthly payroll for over circa 65 employees
  • First point of contact for all payroll queries
  • Calculation of statutory and payments, phased RTW, pay adjustments and over payments
  • New starters, leavers use of HMRC portal for student loans update
  • Producing P45s and P60s
  • Pension amendments, enrolment and reconciliation
  • Supporting HR with onboarding new starters, assisting in recruitment and attending meetings
Ideally you will be:
  • Confident with SAGE 50
  • Self-sufficient and able to use own initiative
  • Proficient with ADP/equivalent systems
