Job Description

Paint Shop ChargehandLeicesterPermanent£24,000-28,000 per annumThe RoleWe are currently looking for a paint shop chargehand to join our clients busy powder coating team. The job is based in west Leicester and the hours of work are a standard day shift.Responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside and managing an already established team.
  • Delegating work duties and managing hours of staff.
  • Driving output and efficiency.
  • Upholding strong quality procedures.
  • Managing stock.
  • Being involved in general maintenance of the paint shop.
    • The CandidateThe right candidate will possess the following:
  • A solid level of experience within powder coating.
  • An ability to be able to work within and the ability/desire to manage a team successfully.
  • A keen eye for details and improvement.
  • An ambition and drive to succeed.
    • The ClientThe company is a family owned fabrication business that works in the point of sale/point of purchase industries as well as oil & gas and rail environments. They can handle one off bespoke projects/prototypes through to production runs.The company has state of the art plant and machinery so can offer design through to finished powder coated product. They have a team of experienced metalworkers and engineers.
