Job Description

Job Title: Paid Media ManagerLocation: Oadby, LeicesterSalary: up to £40,000Job Type: PermanentJob Reference: PH10447An exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs fastest growing digital marketing agencies.As Paid Media Manager you will lead the Paid Marketing team, as well as managing a number of high-profile client accounts and members of the PM team. Responsibilities will also include training Junior roles, further training for yourself while also assistingin the development of the discipline within the business.Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years Commercial experience of working with AdWords and Paid Social platforms (or similar Paid Marketing platform)
  • Proven performance of work (ROI on accounts, client retention & attitude)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Google AdWords Certified (Fundamentals minimum)
Desired
  • Basic knowledge HTML & CSS skills
  • Past experiences working with Paid marketing tools such as WordStream etc
  • Good knowledge of Internet Marketing Practices
Key Responsibilities & TasksClient Work
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
  • To ensure all work documentation is complete
  • To ensure all relevant parties are aware of job completion (Senior Management, Account Manager and Client)
  • To organise the setup of any billing details needed in the campaigns
Team Management
  • Organising the 1-2-1 meetings with his team
  • Making sure all consultants in his team are up to date with latest PPC trends and best practices
  • Reporting to senior management in relation to team performance and issues
  • Assigning work to team members in accordance with their skills and capacity
  • Updating senior management on project status for all clients weekly
  • Spot checking accounts on an ad hoc basis for each member of the team
Client Meetings (when needed)
  • To represent Paid Marketing in client meetings, both in the offices or if necessary, at the clients premises, and support the Account Manager.
  • To prepare for the meeting by analysing and providing relevant data and insights into the clients website performance to date, and to relay this information to the Account Manager to aid in the meeting.
Account Reviews
  • To review their accounts to the highest of their ability with the overall goal to increase return of investment from the Paid Marketing Campaign
Mentoring
  • To provide mentoring and training for Paid Marketing team members
  • To teach Junior Paid Marketing Consultants company procedures for their roles key responsibilities and tasks (reviews, revisits and daily management)
  • To aid and assist any Junior Paid Marketing Consultants that require help
Key Competencies Knowledge of Paid Marketing: To have a depth of knowledge of Paid Marketing (PPC & Paid Social) that your Manager can no longer train you.
