Job Description

Office Manager

We are seeking an Office Manager who is the linchpin of our workplace, ensuring our Leicester office is a fantastic environment for our team. This role is crucial for maintaining a well-organised, stocked, and engaging office space. You will be responsiblefor Health & Safety compliance, office maintenance, and fostering a productive work atmosphere. If you’re proactive, organised, and have a background in office or facilities management, this role offers the perfect opportunity to take full ownership and makea real impact. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain the professional appearance of the office, arranging repairs and liaising with the landlord and suppliers to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Manage Health and Safety requirements, updating policies in collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Oversee budget management for office and facilities expenses.
  • Maintain staff facilities, including kitchens, meeting rooms, and reception areas.
  • Handle meeting room bookings and organise catering for meetings and events.
  • Manage travel and accommodation arrangements for staff.
  • Ensure filing systems are well-maintained and current.
  • Address all Facilities and Office Management requests efficiently.
  • Adapt to changing business priorities and undertake additional duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Office Management or Facilities Management.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Effective communication and great interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and handle conflicting demands.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
