Management AccountantLeicester/Home working612-month fixed term contractUp to £42,000 per annum plus benefitsHere at Serco, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to provide accurate financial and management information across a portfolio of contracts to the Leisure Senior team, assisting where necessary to enable them to make well informed businessdecisions.As part of this youll: Provide accurate and timely financial reporting including the production of monthly accounts with insightful and actionable commentary on key business drivers. Take responsibility of producing accurate balance sheets to include in monthly reviews and quarterly reviews. Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support contract teams. Promote and lead on continuous improvement of financial processes and maintain the billing of handover schedules. Cash Management for contract portfolio and ad hoc work required.What youll need to do the roleFirst and foremost, youll need to hold a professional qualification with a recognised accounting body along with relevant finance experience such as ACCA or CIMA qualified. You will have a track record of collaborating with business leaders in a complex businessenvironment. You will show evidence of your ability to influence, negotiate, listen, and resolve conflicts with key decision makers. You will have a strong commercial acumen, as well as demonstratable experience of understanding relationships between key financialand non-financial business value drivers.
