Our Client is looking for experienced Team Leaders to assume the day-to-day responsibility for our current projects.Our Client has been is established and growing landscape construction and maintenance business, based in Kibworth, Leicestershire. They have several teams building and maintaining high end gardens and outside spaces for some of the UKs biggest new home builders, commercial contractors and domestic clients all over the Midlands, M1 Corridor.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to be part of a growing business. You will gain valuable experience, working at some prestigious addresses and unique, high specification gardens. The ideal candidate will be experienced and or qualified in soft landscaping/horticulture. They will also be honest, self-motivated, reliable, and have a friendly yet professional approach with clients.Duties will include:Leading a team in Day to day tasksManaging the signing off of daily tasks and returning paperwork to line managerGround preparationPlanting of shrubs and trees following a site planLaying turf, create seedbeds and wildflower areasReading from site plansOther responsibilities will include:Ensuring that projects are completed to the quality required.Day to day organisation of individual projects.Take responsibility for other members within the teamFollow health and safety policies and proceduresKey Skills:Candidates should have previous experience within the landscaping and construction industry and must be able to demonstrate good plant knowledge. Also required is excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and execute work efficiently. Good leadership skills are also important as are good organisational skills and an eye for detail.Ideally 3yrs+ experience.Horticultural qualification preferred, for example Level 2/3 Work Based HorticultureDriving license is essential.CSCS card is essential.Competitive salary dependent on experience plus bonuses and option to earn overtime.If you think you have what it takes to join this dedicated, hard-working team, send a CV and covering letter to Carl Nicholson.
