• Responsible for driving growth in the laboratory business through direct close collaboration with the sales teams across the laboratory portfolio with the focus on Software, Automation and Multi-parameter systems.
• Working with sales aim to understand each and every customer laboratory workflow, instrumentation and applications.
• Train the sales and BDM teams in the sales and consultation process.
• Provide advanced level support with training and education to the Lab SBUs, BDMs, and Technical Support teams on product, software, and solutions. Guide and coach technical specialists in the support of software customers.
• Manage and accurately track large projects and tasks and meet utilization goals established for the position.
• Perform demonstrations/presentations of software and automation solutions to customers.
• Actively participate in tradeshows, workshops and educational events as needed. Collect and share success stories.
• Must be able to successfully perform all duties associated with the Laboratory Solutions Consultant.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Lab Software and Automation Manger.
• Design and implement best practice laboratory solutions for customers by supporting the sales process for software and automation applications.
• Take responsibility for continuous improvement of the software and automation sales and consultation processes.
• Alongside the Sales Managers and Software and Automation Manager deliver the sales targets.
• Business strategy development with particular focus on LabTech and Analytical.

what you need:

• Knowledge and understanding of customer business.
• Understanding of laboratory SOPs.
• Knowledge of MT instruments, software, and solutions.
• Experienced in selling into key verticals - Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D, Manufacturing, BioTech, CRO, CDMO, F&B, and Chemical.
