Job Description

The Optionis Group is one of the UKs most successful professional services companies. Through our brands, we specialise in managing tax, employment (umbrella), accountancy and legislative compliance for the UKs small businesses and contingent workforce- our solutions are market leading, and were always looking out for the best possible employees.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced field sales professional to join our key accounts team .In this role, you will work closely with an internal Key Account Manager and Key Account Director on a portfolio of large accounts. Under direction of the Key Account Director and in line with the agree account plan, you will develop relationships with peopleat various levels within the agencies. The focus of your role is to grow the referring consultants base to grow leads and joiners from our key accounts. As part of your role, you will also deliver regular workshops and sessions to groups of consultants asdirected by the Key Account Director. You will understand the full portfolio of Optionis products and cross sell where relevant.Role Profile

  • You will be home based with extensive travel across the country.
  • You will ensure a high level of sales activity in three key areas of maintenance, development and generation, primarily through meetings.
  • You will conduct regular meetings with agencies to ensure that changes in process are kept up to date, to inform on the regulatory landscape, and to boost relationships. This includes out of normal working hours socialising.
  • You will conduct activities as directed by the Key Account Director to ensure that the account plan targets are achieved.
  • You will be responsible for the maintenance of any account data in the portfolio.
  • You are responsible for educating the accounts in the portfolio on our internal processes and correct where necessary.
  • You will understand agency business needs and objectives whilst gaining maximum available market share.
  • You will be jointly accountable for the attainment of bespoke revenue and profit targets.
  • You will need to stay abreast of relevant regulations and legislations in order to add value to our agencies. You will equally have an excellent understanding of all relevant products and services within the Optionis group to ensure that you can promotethem where relevant.
  • You will use and promote your industry knowledge and understanding of the legislative and tax framework affecting UK contractors, recruitment businesses and end hirers whilst always promoting compliance and industry standards throughout the supply chain.
  • The measures of success for this role are joiner growth within your key accounts whilst achieving profitability targets. Your KPIs will be around sales activity and satisfaction scores.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in a sales environment, ideally in a key account management role.
  • Experience developing account plans as a basis for account growth.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure target driven environment.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulation.
