IT Security & Infrastructure Specialist

Job Role

Vast knowledge and experience of Security/3rd line support specific or higher background within an organisation or business.

Working towards and/or attained Security certifications, must have experience in a security role previous.

Knowledge of IT security best practise from user level to domain level, to network wide.

Knowledge of networking and infrastructure.

To maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of cyber security issues/best practices and new technologies.

Experience with network monitoring including security breaches and identifying issues both pro and retroactively

Strong understanding of GDPR, Data protection, ISO, ETC, along with experience in implementation.

Security audit and data retention plan and design abilities.

Backup and DR policy experience and implementation.

Skills Required

This role would suit someone with 3rd line infrastructure/network experience, with 1 years+ exposure to IT Security.

Knowledge of ISO27001, GDPR and Data Protection

Infrastructure Technologies - Citrix, VMWAre/Hyper-V, Win Server 2019, Active Directory, Office 365, Cisco Switches and firewalls, Malware, AntiVirus

Security Products - Watchguard, Sophos, Malware, Anti-Virus, Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management

Experience in a team lead role or management of a team would be highly desirable.
