Job Description

CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE - Remote role from homeJob SummarySupervise/perform the following activities on switchgear and related equipment within the voltage range of 415v - 33kv.

  • Installation
  • Commissioning
  • System testing and Fault diagnosis
  • Maintenance
  • Modifications/refurbishment
Key aspects of the roleCommissioning, installation, maintenance, retrofit/modification of electrical distribution equipment between 400V and 33kV.Client The client specialises in: Installation and commissioning of HV and LV Switchgear, Maintenance, Retrofit, Breakdown, Project Management, Thermal Imaging, Transformers, Training and DesignQualifications
  • Over 3 years of working experience as an onsite Electrical Engineer (less working experience may be considered based on a combination of related education/degree and hands-on experience in a HV environment).
  • Graduate engineer (university or technical college) or technician in electrical engineering - HNC/HND Ideally min.
Necessary knowledgeStrong understanding of Relay and protection is idealNeed someone who can be proactive with learning and keen to developPackage
  • £32,500 - £35,000 per annum
  • OT - £60 OTE
