Job Description

This well-established plastics manufacturer supplying to a range of sectors is currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter Supervisor to join their team. You will be responsible for ensuring the mould shop is running safely and efficiently, whilst maintaininghigh levels of quality on produced products.As Injection Moulding Setter Supervisor, your duties will include -

  • Check the daily schedule with the Production/Plant Manager and check on-going activities from the previous shift
  • All day-to-day Discipline and control ensuring all company rules and regulations are followed
  • Set-up injection moulding machines for production and/or sampling Tool changing
  • Correct processing faults with injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment
  • Process optimising
  • Control of stock in and out of production
  • Maintaining a high level of house keeping
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Supervisor, the ideal Candidate will -
  • Hold similar experience as a Plastic Injection Moulding Head Setter, Technician, Setter Teamleader or Toolsetter
  • Have man-management experience
  • Be able to set machines from scratch
  • Have experience of processing a range of materials
  • Be capable of resolving moulding/process issues
Based near Kibworth, this role is easily commutable from Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Northampton, Coventry, Oakham and Kettering.On Offer - This company actively promotes a work-life balance, and can offer career progression to those that desire.
