POD supports the university in attracting, developing and retaining staff, facilitating high standards of organisational performance, providing support to colleagues to ensurea high quality student experience as well as offering practical HR advice and a high level of customer service.The roleYou will be joining a large and diverse team whose expertise span from recruitment, employment relations to operational services. The role will work within the HR Services Team responsible for undertaking a range of duties in relation to the employment lifecycle and delivering an effective, professional and efficient administrative service. You will be responsible for undertaking HR administrative processes to deliver an effective, professional and efficient service. As well as to provide administrative supportto the HR team, working in a fast-paced environment providing guidance and administrative support to internal and external customers.Ideal candidateYou will manage the administration of the HR Services e-mail inboxes, respond to and triage day to day queries by e-mail and telephone to deliver a high quality, efficient, customer focused service. You will liaise with internal teams as well as liaisingwith the wider university to help and support where needed and will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Services team on a day to day basis.You will have experience of working in a busy office environment as an administrator, have strong attention to detail and will have achieved a minimum GCSE grade 9 - 6 (A* - C) in Maths and English (or equivalent level of experience).You will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy as well as being able to organise and prioritise work to meet demanding targets and deadlines.In return for joining our ambitious team, you will have access to a generous benefits package, including up to 33 days holiday (including bank holidays); Local Government Pension Scheme, various different rewards and benefits including discounted membershipfor our on-site award winning gym.Whats nextPlease apply via the DMU careers site.
