Job Description

HR AdministratorLeicester6 Week Contract (possible extension)£12.50 per hour PAYE My high-profile retail client is looking for an HR Administrator to join their team on an initial contract of 6-week contract. The role is a Hybrid role which will require the candidate to work 2 days at their office in Leicester and 3 days at homeThis role is Monday to Friday 9:00 - 5:00.The RoleAs our Human Resources Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the full team member lifecycle by providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders including collaborating with the Human Resources specialist teams to provide insights, enablingproblem solving and seeking solutions, and provide predictive capability to business directors on Human Resources solutions. Human Resources services advocates and improved line manager development through the continued contribution of knowledge of the self-servicestrategy.As our Human Resources Administrator, you will:

  • Work with the HR Manager and HR Administration model to deliver an efficient HR administration service to all Selfridges sites and to ensure excellence in customer service
  • Produce and send out offer packs, including offer letters and contracts to all new joiners in the business
  • Management of the full worker life cycle - from staffing to compensation - using the HR management system - Workday. Including:
  • Modify and create organisational structures
  • Assistance and review of the job change business processes
  • Password re-set
  • Daily management of the HR services Workday inbox
  • Daily resolution for telephone and email Workday enquiries relating to processes, knowledge and requests.
  • Send out new contracts where an amendment has been received
  • Take up references for all new joiners and reply to reference requests from other third parties, liaising with the HR team promptly where references may not be satisfactory
  • Be aware of SLA targets and audit timeframes for HR administration services and to ensure that these are met through regular communication with the HR Admin team leader and HR Admin Manager
  • Process applications for staff discount, including the addition of request to Payroll system, invoicing, refunds and the capture of amended data according to the defined criteria
  • Management and administration of the Healthcare benefits scheme
  • Process applications for season tickets
  • Make best use of all IT systems to deliver an excellent service, identifying improvements where necessary
  • Maintain all HR files including electronic filing of consent, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and being aware of the process for subject access requests and forthcoming GDPR
  • Administering the refer a friend scheme
  • Produce and distribute reports
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the wider team
  • On occasion, travel to our London and Regional stores may be necessary.
Skills
  • Knowledge within a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent HR system skills including Workday
  • Strong customer service skills, and comfortable with multi-tasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
  • The successful candidate will be an administrator, extremely organised, resilient, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent HR system skills
