Job Description

Housing Team Leader - URGENTLY Required Duration: 3 Month + PotentiallyLocation: LeicesterHours: 37.5 hours Mon - FriPay Rate: £27.89 per hour umbrellaAn opening has arisen for a Housing Team Leader in Leicester. Said individual shall be overseeing a small team of 8 Housing Officers within a patch of 378 properties.The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Lead on the day-to-day operations, including housing management and repairs and maintenance
  • Develop effective relationships with residence, residence groups, the Client and other stakeholders
  • Respond effectively to all correspondence including councillor and MP enquirers
  • Effectively manage anti-social behaviour cases, including liaison with other agencies
  • Develop client polices into processes and procedures so that the team delivers services in line with respective policy
  • Lead a small team (Of 8) to deliver quality housing management services
  • Work with the customer services team to let void properties within contract targets
  • Ensure Client information is provided in a timely manner
  • Liaise with colleagues/contractors on arrears management, and repairs and maintenance issues
  • Lead the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives on his/her housing management patch to improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure service standards are maintained by following the organisations policies and procedures
The successful candidate will have:
  • Enhanced DBS (We could also put one in place for you if needed)
  • Full Licence with access to a vehicle
