Job Description

We take a collaborative and commercially minded, yet socially principled approach across our portfolio of Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties.The Role - Local Housing ManagerProvide a comprehensive housing service across the contract are a and to take full operational responsibility for an area as defined by the Head of Housing. You will be responsible for the effective management of the housing service and all aspects of tenant& housing management, providing regular reports on performance, identifying key issues and solutions.In the heart of Leicester (Belgrave area) Pinnacle provides a comprehensive housing service to a housing cooperative. (Total number of properties 378)Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meeting all relevant performance indictor targets
  • To lead on the day-to-day operations, including housing management and repairs and maintenance.
  • Develop effective relationships with residence, residence groups, the Client and other stakeholders.
  • To write performance and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • To develop client polices into processes and procedures so that the team delivers services in line with respective policy.
  • Respond effectively to all correspondence including councillor and MP enquirers.
  • To effectively manage the delivery of the performance management framework agreed with the client.
  • To lead a small team to deliver quality housing management services.
  • To work with the customer services team to let void properties within contract targets
  • To ensure Client information is provided in a timely manner.
  • To liaise with colleagues/contractors on arrears management, and repairs and maintenance issues
  • To lead the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives on his/her housing management area to improve customer satisfaction.
Skills Required
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and current practice
  • Tenancy/Housing Management
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team and independently
  • Resilience to manage a team in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent Customer Services
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
