Job Description

Brook Street are excited to be supporting The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) in their search for a Temporary Higher Executive Officer to work remotely from the Midlands to start in January. Key Details : Temporary - 6 months with a possibilityof extension Hourly rate - £20.55, paid weekly in arrears Location - Remote (Must be Based in the Midlands - Leicester, Warwick, Northampton or Solihull) Hours of work - 35 hours per week. Must have a full driving licence and access to vehicle - expenses willbe paid Office hours (Mon - Fri 8.30 - 5 with 1hr lunch) Start date - 8th January The role : Working from home, as an HEO you will be the regional New Entrant Employer Lead, generating new business for CITB and delivering an enhanced support service to employersalready employing or considering employing new entrants, including apprentices. This is to be achieved by building and maintaining an effective network or relationships with employers, training providers and local/national stakeholders and CITB partners thatsupport the delivery of CITBs strategic and business plans - specifically Improving Constructions People Pipeline. The NEST team forms an integral part of the future plan around pipeline development, Provider Networks, Employer Networks and supportinga revised funding delivery model. Main Duties : Attending training providers events and visiting clients for onsite visits Receiving referrals to contact employers to recruit apprentices Liaising with training providers, supporting employers in the constructionindustry and help them to claim CITB grants Lots of networking - maintaining and building of relationships by meetings, phone calls and emails with internal and external stakeholders Management of a changeable employer caseload Decision making regarding recruitment,training, safeguarding and escalation Manage and communicate change in training, apprenticeships, standards and funding to employers Work collaboratively with delivery partners Devise solutions with employers and providers to ensure the best possible outcomesfor new entrant training Deliver training to employers and workplace mentors to support new entrants and apprentices Maintain broad, up to date knowledge and understanding of the full CITB offer including levy, grant and funding products in order to refercustomers to Engagement or product colleagues, to enhance the customer experience Essential Skills : Excellent organisational skills Experience of working with Microsoft Office and CRM Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to self-manageeffectively Ideally with have a construction background You will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check and provide details for 3 years referencing.
