HGV/ Plant Engineer Our client, a significant and growing specialised haulier is now looking to strengthen their team by appointing an experienced HGV/Plant engineer. Reporting in to the MD this role will be to maintain the fleet of Volumetric s and concrete pumps daily with general maintenance and PMI inspections, preparing the fleet for MOTs and IVAs for new builds along with servicing and maintenance of their loading shovels and tippers.The key responsibilities for this role will be:Running defects. Vehicle inspections. Carry out routine servicing. General maintenance and repair. MOT preparation / Presentation. Engine / Gearbox repairs and overhauls. Completion of all required paperwork. You could be asked to attend site to support vehicle breakdowns if required.Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in mechanical engineering such as City & Guilds or an NVQ, however it is the individual we are looking for.
