DC Personnel have a new and exciting permanent, part time opportunity to work with our well established client in Leicester as their new Health & Safety OfficerSalary : £25-£32k (DOE)Hours : 24 hours a week - Daily hours can be negotiated.Benefits :25 days holiday plus bank holidays, competitive pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, Health cash plan & life insuranceResponsibilities:Take lead on all H&S activities, including the creation and upkeep of H&S records and procedures to maintain a safe working environmentConduct regular inspections and audits within all departmentsInvestigate any reports and accidents that take place to determine the cause along with how to correct.Prepare regular reports in detail on incidents, inspections, improvements and safetyPresent health and safety training to employees on various practices.Keep up to date with industry standardsCollaborate with department leads and employees to promote awareness.Experience required:3 Years experience as a health and safety officer within a manufacturing environmentProficient in report writing and data analysisStrong knowledge of H&S regulations and best practicesNEBOSH qualification is desirableExperience with ISO 45001 is desirableAbility to work to strict deadlines with the ability to prioritise accordinglyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to build strong working relationshipsJoin our team of talented professionals and apply today.DC Personnel are acting as a recruitment agency on behalf of the employer.
