Job Description

The companyA well-established and respected vehicle adaption company with an admirable reputation.The roleThis exciting and challenging role is key to our client continuing to continue and further develop their market leading position.Bringing together the core systems and interfaces (SAP, Configurator Tools, CRM system etc), you will possess a solid background in ERP / SAP, leading the coordination and project management of system implementation of our new state of the art applications,system updates and alignment with group systems.You will lead and coordinate demand with SAP Key users and Business Process Owners and seek to improve performance, functionality and consistency of the SAP environment.You will be part of a group-wide IT steering / alignment team to ensure a beneficial & harmonized systems development.Management of our magic triangle: SAP - Configurator - CRM systems, working with key users to implement and maintain new systems.Support our digital team: prioritisation of activities and ensuring the successful interface of tools into our SAP platform.Responsibilities and dutiesEnsure stable & solid IT / ERP operations and processes, reliable transactions.Maintenance and continuous development of our clients SAP ERP-environment and its modules.Support the management in regarding definition of KPIs, reporting etc.Monitor ERP performance using relevant set of operational KPIs.Lead and coordinate demand with SAP Key users and Business Process Owners.Define and establish best pratices, business process and SAP improvements.Organize and ensure relevant training needs are covered.Definition of system specifications when working with external consultants.Coordination of external consultants and leading SAP / IT projects.Coordination of new ideas / process and systems changes.Ability to customize SAP system, modules and master data.ABAP programming and report generation in SAP.Creation of forms (SAPScript, SmartForms)Work with the project teams and resolve issues and ensure consensus.Anticipate potential issues that could arise and prepare to deal with it effectively.Agreeing on operational SLAs and measuring the benefits.Create a project board for milestone activities and identify early success indicators.Provide go-live support and on the ground feedback.Engage with senior stakeholder team at a strategic level for developing and implementing relevant parts of the IT strategy.Advice the senior stakeholder team of any issues or risks to objectives or benefits arising from.Integration of IT systems in an effective way for efficient data analysis to support decision making.Work with relevant training and development teams to ensure appropriate training is provided to ensure successful implementation and uptake of new processes and systems.The development of detailed communication plans to convey the impact of changes on the processes is essential as is the development of detailed Standard Operating procedures and guidance documentation for resolving the issues during go live and subsequently.This candidate will be responsible to manage the budgets and timelines and report the progress to the steering committee as also identify risks & activate risk mitigation steps.The applicantThe successful candidate will be accountable for the successful implementation of SAP across the business. Key to succeeding will be the ability to embody our clients cultural values of respect, trust and responsibility.Must possess good leadership skills and inter personal relationship - in order to encourage confidence among line managers & team members.Ability to manage projects and present status to appropriate stakeholders.Strong analytical skills.Eager to learn and to understand business needs.Great organisational & planning skills.This person will lead and own the effective implementation of SAP and its various modules in a time bound manner involving all the stakeholders by co-ordinating with SAP teams in the UK and Europe.Excellent critical thinking, decisive & problem-solving mentality.A "hands-on" individual being results-driven.Has integrity, honesty & loyalty.QualificationsDegree in applied or computer sciences / engineering, or a related field.Degree and/or knowledge in programming / coding.Solid experience in at least one SAP module (FI/CO/MM/SD/PP) and willingness to acquire & cover the range of all modules used by our client.Basic knowledge in ABAP programming.
