Group Financial Controller £65,000 - £70,000 per annum + bonus Leicester (Hybrid working available) Permanent SF Recruitment are searching for a Group Financial Controller to join our rapidly expanding client based in Leicester. You will be reporting directly into the CFO of the business and be responsible for the below. Key responsibilities: - Responsibility for Group Consolidation process, including providing Finance Business Leads with templates/timetables for meeting reporting timeframes - Prime responsibility of managing both External Audit and External Tax teams, including co-ordinating information requirements to meet deadlines/tax planning, etc - Keeping up to date, and supplementing with future acquisitions, the Historic Financial Models, ensuring full historical financial data as required by Investors is available and supportable to source data. - Submitting consolidated numbers into PE house reporting system - Ensuring covenant reporting is up to date, and compliant with Lender submission timetable. - Managing the Group Budget/Forecasting Process - Managing acquisition accounting, ensure transactions and fair value adjustments are clearly tracked - Leading Hive-Up process/plans to streamline group accounting processes - Setting Group Policies, such as Expenses, Purchase Order approvals, etc Skills & Experience: - ACA or similar - ideally large/medium accountancy firm experience in with good knowledge of technical finance and tax, and experience reporting to Investors. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages. - Qualified Accountant - up to date with accounting standards and working Corporation Tax knowledge - Experienced in building good working relationships. - Good IT Skills.
