We believe in a world where death is not taboo. Where its not morbid or scary. Where talking about it and planning for it is natural, responsible and maybe even...funThere are currently more than eight million people without life insurance in the UK.We want to do our bit to help more people talk about death and plan for the future for when the inevitable happens. Because spoiler alert: we are all going to die.We want to offer people really easy life insurance that is focused around what we call Deathwishes. Not the desire for self-annihilation, just our way of helping you understand what you want to happen when you die. So were building the worlds largest place where you can make, store, and share your wishes for whatever you want to happen when you die, whileat the same time making it cheap, flexible and easy to use and understand.Sounds like fun Come join us and be part of our journey to world domination.*About the role:*Were looking for a Software Engineer with JavaScript and AWS experience. We know this can be intimidating for some people, so if you prefer, please let us know that you have an interesting piece of code you have written previously which we can discuss instead. We take great care to make thisa friendly and welcome session (to reflect how we work). The next step will be a chat with our CTO, Nick, to find out more about each other. Here we will talk about DeadHappys culture, values and ways of working, a bit more about the role and about you asan individual.
