Job Description

Job Profile for Fire Service Engineer - Midlands - MF253910Service Engineer required for our client, a long-standing established Fire Systems Company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Working in Healthcare, Data Centres, Power gen, Manufacturing & Banking sectors, the role would ideally suit an engineerwith good communication skills and presentation who would like the opportunity to excel in their field and maintain a range of fire systems to a high standard.Fire Service Engineer - Midlands Position OverviewThe successful candidate will be suitably experienced, competent and qualified to service fire alarm & detection systems, carry out fault finding diagnostics and repairs. Experience with gas suppression detection and aspirating smoke detection systems isan advantage yet not essential, as they provide excellent support for training and ongoing career development.Fire Service Engineer - Midlands Position Requirements

  • Industry experience minimum 2 years
  • Installation skills beneficial
  • Full UK driving license essential
  • ECS card required / or other H&S qualification
  • FIA/ Industry or equivalent qualifications
  • Manufacturer training
  • Commutable around Leicester and Midlands
Fire Service Engineer - Midlands Position Remuneration
  • £28,500 - £34,000 (OTE package plus £6k-£12k)
  • Overtime rates and travelling time is paid
  • Call out retainer £120.00/ week. Attendance paid at prevailing rates
  • Hotel accommodation with a generous allowance
  • Provided with laptop, mobile phone, uniform/PPE, tablet & test equipment
  • Company car or van is provided inc. personal use.
  • A workplace pension scheme in in place
  • Holidays 31 days entitlement increasing with time served.
  • Industry and Manufacturer training with continued career development
