BTG is currently working with an international manufacturing business, this is a True business partnering role that will present an opportunity to work closely with the factory leadership team. This role is looking after a sub £100m entity part of a largercash rich group offering security and further room to progress and develop. This role has been created and has the green light now to highlight factory inefficiencies and to drill down on factory variances which means its a fantastic opportunity to be a businesspartner to the wider business.The RoleYour new role as the Finance & Operations Business Partner will see you taking ownership of the entire business unit and its management reporting, with a focus on factory performance, materials variances, standard costing & BOMs. Duties will include:* Identify, challenge and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements via best-in-class Business Partnering* Partnering with program managers to provide cost accounting support to specific development programs* Reviewing budgets both operational and capital, including setting overhead absorption rates, capacity and labour rates and fixed asset management in accordance with annual budget cycle* Preparing management information including development of new BI reports* Support the development of bill of materials and routings for new product development* Ensure inventory is transacted on a timely basis and balance sheet is accurately stated* Support the consolidation and analysis of operations key performance indicatorsWhat you get in returnJoin a high-performing profitable group, having the responsibility of the numbers for one of the most profitable divisions of the group.
