Job Description

Finance Director | Leicestershire| to £100K + Bonus + Benefits | Hybrid workingAre you looking for your next step up on the career ladder Do you want start 2024 leading the finance operation for a multinational company Are you a qualified Accountant who wants to make a difference within an International company Then read on as Cherry Professional are delighted to be exclusively retained to search for a Finance Director for this fast-growing international company based in Leicestershire. This position plays a vital role within the SLT and will be responsible for the management of financial planning, analysis and reporting. This role requires technical accounting skills but also that you possess business commercialityand acumen.Some of the Key Responsibilities…

  • You will be an integral part of the Senior Management team
  • You will ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with US GAAP and UK GAAP requirements
  • You will be the business partner and the financial advisor to the General Manager as well as other business areas.
  • You will business partner with sales and marketing looking at profitability and productivity
  • You will be responsible for all compliance pertaining to local law, corporate guidelines and SOX regulations
  • You will provide commercial financial reasoning
  • You will manage working capital with a strong focus on AR
  • You will be the main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors and statutory tax auditors
  • You will oversee the payroll, pensions, car fleet and IT etc
Who the client is looking for….
  • Ideally you will be Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with at least 8 years PQE
  • Ideally you will have experience from a large multinational organisation
  • Have extensive UK and US GAAP knowledge
  • Have strong SOX skills
  • Have strong SAP knowledge and possibly BI reporting skills
  • Have the ability to clearly communicate at all levels both verbally and written
  • Have the desire to take the business forward and lead a team
