Finance Assistant Leicester LE4 Permanent SF Recruitment are working with an excellent business in Leicester who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their business and work closely with their management accountant on a full time & permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individuallooking for a varied role and to join a company who offers continuous growth & development. This is a full time role (37.5 hours) with hybrid working (3 days in the office & 2 days remote), on site parking, 24 days annual leave, study support & much more. Our client is looking for an individual with at least 12 months experience within Accounting& finance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Coding and entering onto purchase invoices for all companies - Reconciling bank statements daily - Cash Book - Preparing purchase ledger payments - To maintain filing/archiving for all companies - Credit control duties on assigned customers including chasing payment and allocating receipts - To carry out above duties for any other group business that may be added to the Leicester finance function. - Assist the preparation of management accounts - To carry out any other job-related duties which may be requested from time to time by the Management Accountant and Finance Director. - To take responsibility for contributing to own training and development. The ideal candidate will have 12 months experience, be a competent user with sage & more importantly Excel. Studying AAT is desirable but NOT essential.
