Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our client on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and have a keen interest in financial systems and processes.Client DetailsMy client is a highly successful business with a strong reputation for excellence in Leicester. They have a requirement to recruit a professional and proven Finance Analyst into their team.Description

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
ProfileA successful Finance Analyst should have:
  • Exposure in a Finance Analyst or Management Accountant role (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software applications
  • Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of commercial acumen
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for finance
