Job Description

Staff365 have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Field Support Engineer to join our client, a well known and highly respected global outdoor leisure brand.Main Focus of role:To become part of a small team providing product maintenance, contact, product advice, technical support and training to our Customers nationwide (manufacturers, Dealers and on occasion end user).Key Activities / responsibilities:

  • Professional team member providing external Customer Service Support.
  • Ability to plan own diary and complete activity reporting independently.
  • Carry out technical repairs on cookers, fridges, toilets and other products supplied to the leisure industry (Training Provided)
  • Provide technical support to Manufacturers, Dealers and Service Centers. along with an internal CS team
  • Plan and execute product training to Manufactures, Dealers and Service Centers in person and via Teams environments.
  • Representing Thetford at Industry events, such as Trade Shows and Rallies. Occasional weekends required with prior notice given
Required experience:
  • Caravan or Leisure Industry knowledge desirable
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Strong Team Player
  • Good communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to manage situations of conflict if necessary
  • Customer focused
  • Work effectively unsupervised
  • Flexible and adaptable to situations and demands
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate
Required education/ knowledge:
  • LPG ACOPS License or higher
  • Ideally IEE wiring qualified or equivalent
Additional Information
  • 32k basic plus upto 7.5% bonus of annual salary (objective based)
  • 4 days working in the field - 1 day from home
