Field Service Engineer - Generators- £29k basic (OTE £37k+) & overtime, excellent on call allowance, excellent training & career development, van, door to door travel time, petrol card, life assurance, healthcare, excellent pension, childcare vouchers- Midlands- You MUST have had hands on generator experienceOverview:Imagine a world without generators. Ships out at sea would struggle. No construction would be able to take place. No concerts, no major sporting events, hospitals would struggle too. Generators are the unsung heroes of life today, and we need people to maintain these vital pieces of kit…So what makes this role different Well, you will be given an excellent salary with some REAL earning potential (most engineers earn around £8k - some more - on overtime, £2k on call), door to door paid travel and strong benefits package. You are working for a worldwide leader, top of their profession, a stable yet growing company. Its local work, not UK wide. There are lot of opportunities in your progression moving forward…But there is some real earning potential here. A basic of £29k but with the overtime and on call, your final pay should be £38k+ with some really strong benefits…The role:The Field Service Engineer (Generators) will be covering the East Midlands, predominantly servicing a range of generators across different client sites on their world renowned generators. You may have to attend breakdowns, but a role where you can plan your own day working locally and not all over the UK as some service roles are.The personEssentially, we are looking for a proven professional who has maintained and serviced generators (any make or model) before. You will have good mechanical and electrical skills and show an element of flexibility regarding overtime (which you are handsomely paid for).We are not expecting someone who can do everything straight away, so training will be given on the product range. And a smile with customers is obviously a must!Company and culture:The company and the culture are what really makes this truly unique. We are talking about one of the UK leaders in what they do who have thousands of employees across the UK who take great pride in the investment they put in to training for their staff (recently won Best Employer Brand for their focus on investing in their people and their working environment) and the long term careers they offer. What nextIf this seems like an opportunity that appeals, send your CV through and I will be more than happy to go through this in more detail. Look forward to hearing your story… Required skills
