As well as a great opportunity to further your career, you will have a very good working and social environment rivalled within and outside of the industry.The Role of the Field Service Engineer:As an Electrical PLC Field Engineer, you will be field based from the midlands and covering the UK with some international travel. Joining an existing team, your day will see you involved with PLC fault finding and electrical service and repair on fast paced food processing equipment. There is a requirement for industrial electrical experience including wiring panels & controls up to 3 phase, 415v. Furthermore, you will be supervising the installations and upgrades of equipment to ensure they are commissioned and operating correctly. You are the first line of support to customers, so strong customer service skills are essential.The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:The successful candidate must be electrically strong, with PLC fault finding skills. Able to read and fault find electrical drawings and have a working understanding of inverter drives. You will have been previously field based, be self motivated, able to work unsupervised and adhere to relevant H&S and electrical regulations.·Previous field based service engineering experience ·Familiar with high speed processing & production lines ·Competent with PLC fault finding & programmingThe Package for the Field Service Engineer:·£35,000 - £40,000 basic salary·Company Car ·Pension, Laptop, Mobile ·On-going training ·25 days holiday plus statsPlease apply for this job online if you are interested and feel you fit the above criteria.
