Contract Type: Full timeLocation: LeicesterHours: 38 per week, Office Day Shift - 08.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 08.00 - 14.00 Friday.Bromford Leicester is recruiting for a Facilities and Maintenance and the main duties and responsibilities of this Role are as follows:General Management of facilities and machine maintenance/repair. Set, lead and drive improvements in all EHS measures. Act as the first point of contact for all day-to-day client requests. Inspection of buildings and operations to determine if any repairs are required. Sourcing of maintenance suppliers and build relationships. Provide technical support and help to develop plans, when required.Environmental, Health & Safety Lead and maintain all statutory and internal Health & Safety inspections/testing for the Site (including Crimson Reporting/PAT Testing). Assist as required in any Accident and Near Miss Investigations and internal reporting. Setup provision for Lock Out and Tag Out. Lead and monitor all waste streams, setting realistic goals to reduce. Lead the emergency provision, preparedness and procedures (Business Continuity Plan). Lead the Net Zero & Sustainability program. Management of Subcontractors including Permit to Work, SSOW, Risk Assessments. Responsibility to adhere to budgets and plan to maximise profitability. Establish the smooth running of the process and organisation facilities. Perform all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and implement good manufacturing practices (GMP), Best Practice Guidelines and AS certification.Machine Maintenance Manage the timely and cost-effective provision of all routine maintenance. Manage the timely and cost-effective breakdown repairs. Wherever possible, personally implementing containment and quick fixes to get machines up and running. Lean the maintenance, development, performance and delivery of the facilities to the organisation to produce an efficient service and delivery solution, maximising performance and profitability against pre-agreed targets.Person Specification: Worked within an Aerospace/Automotive production environment. Strong maintenance knowledge of CNC machinery. Qualified in electrical and / or mechanical engineering. Health & Safety focused, preferably IOSH Managing Safety qualified. Experienced Maintenance Manager / Facilities Manager with a proven track record of delivering Best Practice reliability and maintenance solutions working in a fast-moving continuous manufacturing environment.
