Job Description

ERP IMPLEMENTATION ANALYST. LEICESTER. UPTO 50K. HYBRID OPPORTUNITY. SME. MANUFACTURING SECTOR.Client DetailsOur client is a small manufacturing business that specialises in producing the finest of furniture. With unique craftsmanship this company has established and grown and supply unique pieces all over the world. Due to growth they are now implementing a newERP System. We are looking for an ERP Implementation Analyst to join the team and play a part in the delivery.DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with our external consultants to ensure the ERP Implementation project is being delivered as agreed, and on time.
  • Work with the Business Change Manager to agree work streams for relevant areas of the project, and for certain departmental deliverables, including developing an in-depth knowledge of current processes and future expected processes.
  • Actively increase knowledge of the chosen ERP system and how this will meet processes, post implementation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders in preparing the documentation required that will aid with the transition to the new ERP.
  • Lead with the preparation of key project phases including User Acceptance Testing and Training.
  • Be the key point of contact and functional expert leading into the go-live across various departments.
  • Provide go-live user support and be the key point of contact across departments to enable the business to adapt to new processes.
  • Manage system and user issues post go-live, focusing on prioritisation.
  • Focal point for training new users, and existing users as required on the system.
ProfileQualifications for the ERP Implementation Analyst:
  • Background in ERP systems, minimum of at least one full project implementation (including system design, system build, testing, training and go-live) - preferred experience level is 3 years minimum.
  • Experience of collaborating with external parties, and senior management internally.
  • Advanced O365 skills including Excel, as well as demonstrable experience using BI software and / or report writing tools within an ERP.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field (such as but not limited to: IT, computer science, economics, finance)
  • General understanding of finance processes - AP/AR/GL would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing company, and knowledge of manufacturing principles would be an advantage.
