Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer.Based in Leicester, with UK travelA really interesting a varied job opportunity for a talented Electrical Engineer. You will be joining a professional and established engineering business who have an enviable client base of reputable customers within the FMCG industry.Due to continued growth and internal promotions we are interested in hearing from experienced, time served and qualified Electrical Engineers with project experience and who have the following proven skills:

  • Installation.
  • Commissioning.
  • Fault finding on electrical controls.
  • Ability to read and ideally modify CAD drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills to build trusted relationships with key customers.
  • Previous experience of project engineering within automation.
  • Ability to provide technical proposals.
  • Computer literate.
    • Day to day responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the installation and commissioning process throughout the project.
  • Ensure that all Electrical Regulations and best practices and requirements are maintained.
  • Assist in designs, off-site works, testing and delivery to ensure compliance of quality, budget and programme milestones as defined in the project.
  • Ensure all staff and subcontractors promote a safety and environmental conscious culture.
  • Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the electrical installation programme and activities.
  • Assist in coordinating, controlling of electrical testing and commissioning activities, supervising testing and commissioning Works.
  • Manage defects and corrective actions.
  • Assist in carrying out electrical commissioning of equipment and systems following installation.
