We recruit for Colleges and Training Providers across the UK.Intro:S Knights Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Trainer in Education and Childcare.Our client deliver Apprenticeships and Traineeships and have been established for over 14 years, they are growing their team of expert trainers specifically in childcare and education such as Teaching Assistants. The role would be delivering an Apprenticeshipin Childcare, Management and Education up to Level 5, therefore will need to be a qualified assessor and experience working in the sector.Role and Responsibilities:The Trainer in Education and Childcare will be responsible for the following:- Mentoring and Supporting learners closer to gateway- Deliver a high quality course that meets Ofsteds requirements and expectations- Monitor learners progression by reviewing and marking assignments ensuring completion in a timely manner- Develop learners skills and knowledge in the industry to ensure a successful completion of their course- Manage a caseload of up to 40 learners per cohort, show regular support and setting up 1 to 1s or group sessions when necessaryExperience and Skills:The Trainer in Education and Childcare will require the following experience:- Experience delivering Childcare, Management and Education up to Level 5- Understanding the process of Apprenticeship standards- Hold an assessors qualification such as A1, CAVA, TAQA or D32/D33- Hold a teaching qualification such as PTTLS, CTTLS, DTTLS, AET or equivalent- Occupation experience working in a Childcare setting (management desired)Apply now for the Trainer in Education and Childcare role!
