Early Years Childcare Tutor/Skills CoachLocationRemoteLeicester/East MidlandsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Childcare and Management Tutor/Skills Coach within a growing training provider based in Leicester. They are a quality training provider which have been established for over 14 years delivering further education and employment opportunities. They provide government funded programmes such as Apprenticeships, Traineeships, AEB courses and other job skills programmesin a number of vocational areas.The position of Early Years Childcare and Management Tutor/Skills Coach is a remote role with regular travel, so a full UK drivers licence is essential, along with access to your own transport.The role of the Early Years Childcare and Management Tutor / Skills Coach is to teach, guide and support the development and progression of participants on our apprenticeship programmes nationally. To support the delivery of the required curriculum via onlinedelivery, face to face and delivering effective and engaging training. In this role you will be delivering Early Years Childcare and Management qualifications.This position offers a basic salary of up to £27000 and would suit someone who is a self starter, energetic and passionate about delivering a 1st class experience to their learners in a varied and fast paced role.Purpose of the role of Early Years Childcare and Management Tutor/Skills Coach: Establish good relationships with learners and employers and ensure all parties are up to date with progress. Guide and support learners as to required evidence to complete learning programmes and build portfolios. To deliver engaging teaching and learning sessions as needed within the workplace to inspire and motivate learners. To support and coach learners throughout the apprenticeship and prepare them for end point assessment. To complete onsite progress reviews within the specified time limits setting clear SMART targets with employer involvement. Uphold the organisations standards and policies for Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent. Complete paperwork (e.g. enrolments, reviews and ILPs) to the standard required by funding partners and OFSTED whilst meeting all of the company compliance requirements.Skills, experience, and qualifications required for the position of Early Years Childcare and Management Tutor/Skills Coach: Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33. Recognised teaching or training qualification at level 3 or above would be an advantage. Level 3 childcare qualification. Previous experience of delivering apprenticeships in an Early Years Childcare setting. Vocational competence or work experience within an Early Years Childcare setting at Team Leader or Management Level. Knowledge and experience of the End Point Assessment process. Knowledge and experience of using e-portfolio systems. Experience of embedding Functional Skills into Apprenticeship programmes.This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.This position is being managed by Pertemps Work-Based Learning.
