Our client - a highly successful manufacturing & e-commerce retailer based in Leicester - is seeking an experienced e-commerce assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing & managing a large product portfolio on Amazon UK, Amazon Europe & eBay. You will keep a sharp eye on the competition, watching out for incoming trends & adjusting the trading strategy accordingly. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an ever changing environment and will be able to make reactive decisions with authority. Key duties include: *Working closely with the design team, influencing product design, attributes, marketplace imagery & high-quality content for Amazon Marketplace, *Develop & maintain brand assets / promotional materials - up to date / compliant with industry regulations - for newly developed & existing products i.e. pack & web copy, brand plans & consumer leaflets, *Support a wide range of wide reaching & targeted marketing activities, including high profile advertising, *Build brand awareness & drive sales performance by effectively trading across all channels, *Monitoring E-commerce account status, dealing with day-to-day queries whilst proactively alerting key stakeholders of any issues, *Support with set up of new products, *Manage product listings across multiple platforms to increase rankings & improve customer engagement, *Improve the performance of the brand with competitive pricing, SEO & making improvements to listings. The Right Person *Previous experience in E-commerce, *Experienced in using SEO data to influence trading strategy, *Ideally a marketing OR business graduate, *A mathematical and/or statistical mindset, proficient with analysing data / trends, *Effective communication skills (written & verbal English), *Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, *Excellent attention to detail, planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills, *Strong IT skills incl.
