.Net Developer - Leicester & NorwayCompetitive Salary plus bonusThe Company:Our client is a successful and expanding trusted supplier of technology to the financial services industry and has a flat structure and employs many talented people who all work together in a dynamic team.They have a great product that has helped them navigate the thelock down and they offer a great work environment for the right candidate.The Role:I am looking for an experienced .net developer to work on my client’s new multi-tenant cloud (AWS) insurance system as well as bespoke client projects.Although my client has a global team used to working remotely, there is also the need for the right candidate to be close to clients and team members. Hence, you would need to be resident in Norway or the UK.This is a unique opportunity for a motivated resource to work with a global team of FinTech experts and have a large impact on what will be the best SaaS Insurance Platform in the market.You will be responsible for the detailed design and implementation of new system features and alterations or fixes to existing features. In addition, you will participate in team level sifting of upcoming work, high level solutioning, review of other people’s work and running (automated) deployments.You will need to provide initial estimates (individually or as a team) and detailed estimates and record your time regularly to monitor progress and/or for invoicing purposes.You will be expected to maintain the high quality of software through the creation of automated tests or otherwise. As well as assisting testers and testing process to deliver working code to the live system.You may need to oversee less experienced developers possibly across development centres in Norway, UK and/or Vietnam.You will have good analytical and problem-solving skills, C# using VS2017 or later, web based application development experience, event based/messaging application development experience, NoSQL and SQL based DB skills, excellent contemporary development skills – SOLID, CleanCode, and an Agile team mind set.Ideally you will be fluent in English and either Norwegian or Swedish.Requirements for .NET DEVELOPER: analytical and problem-solving skills, C# using VS2017 or later, web based application development experience, event based/messaging application development experience, NoSQL and SQL based DB skills, excellent contemporary development skills – SOLID, CleanCode, and an Agile team mind set.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
