Job Description

Job Title: Dispatch SupervisorLocation: LeicestershireSalary: £16 - 17 per hour (Reviewed after 3 months)Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday)Benefits: Permanent position + Free on-site parking + career progression + Company events.The Company:A forward thinking company that has experienced significant growth since its formation in 2001.The Dispatch Supervisor Role:

  • Managing a team of 9 - 10 drivers
  • Route planning
  • Liaising with customers via phone and email
  • Checking the vans are loaded and unloaded with the correct products
  • Delivering orders nationwide (when needed)
  • Booking vans in for MOTs, service and repairs
  • Completing paperwork
  • Any other duties as required
The Candidate:
  • Must have previous experience either as a Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Must have a Full Driving License (no more than 6 points)
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be very flexible during busy periods
  • Have previous experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn
