Digital Printer (Department Supervisor) / Artworker, Leicester, £24-26k+ - Salary: Negotiable for the right personThis established and growing company has a UK wide customer base as well as exporting worldwide.They are now seeking an experienced Digital Printer who is also able to create and amend artwork (print ready stage). The successful person will also be accountable for managing their expanding Digital Print Department.Responsibilities:*Managing theprint room, workflow and staff - including staff training.*Operating/maintaining machines (wide format digital printers, flatbed & roll 2 roll UV as well as plotters, heat presses and laminating equipment).*Follow instruction/procedures and work in a professional, safe, efficient manner*Packing completed orders*Creating and amending existing artwork and ensuring it is print ready*Liaise with customersRequirements:*Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)*Previous experience operating Digital Printing equipment*Good communication skills*Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentThe company are looking into 3D Printing so experience within this area would be an advantage, but is not essential.Hours of work: 8:00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm on Friday with 30min lunch breakThe position also comes with excellent long-term prospects for the right candidateCommutable from Lutterworth, Rugby, Coventry, Corby, Loughborough, Tamworth etc.
