The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for the performance of our paid marketing channels across both trade and retail audiencesand will be pivotal in driving digital traffic to maximise engagement across our Digital footprint.The Senior Digital Marketing Executive role is an exciting one and a perfect opportunity for someone to take a first step into line management. 2022 is turning out to be a huge year for accelerating digital transformation in our business and your creativeenergy and Digital Marketing expertise will be pivotal in supporting the growth of our digital performance.Working alongside our other Senior Marketing Execs in a people-focused team, you will bring enthusiasm and a strong digital skillset to inspire and lead your team, managing our expert agencies to ensure all ROAS and engagement targets are achieved acrosspaid social, PPC, display and affiliates marketing campaigns.Does this sound like a bit of you Read on to find out more!The Role:It is an exciting time here at City Plumbing. Weve recently become a stand-alone business and one of main focuses throughout 2022 is to accelerate our Digital Transformation and put our customers at the forefront of everything we do. This means that wehave identified our Paid Channels as an area where we can add real value and were looking to hire a Digital Marketing Executive to help us achieve this.Working within a growing and collaborative Digital Marketing team, youll be responsible for overseeing the performance of all paid marketing channels ensuring ROI and challenging key metrics such as cost-per-click, click through rate, sessions, bounce rate,etc are achieved. Its a great, vibrant and friendly team to be a part of - we take huge pride in creating an inclusive workplace that celebrates and values diversity.This role offers the opportunity of flexibility to predominantly work from home, but you should be within a commutable distance of our newly refurbished offices in Crick, Northamptonshire for infrequent visits.Areas of focus will include:

• Managing our expert agency to ensure relevant PPC, Display, Affiliates and Paid Social activity strategies are introduced, capable of converting at a level that will achieve our online objectives across City Plumbing, Energy Efficiency and Bathroom Showroomsites.
• Bring passion, enthusiasm and creative ideas to lead and upskill the marketing assistants within the team.
• Oversee the briefs submitted by the team for all types of campaign assets to ensure that campaign objectives and brand equity is achieved.
• Report on channel activity to ensure we are maximising investment across our paid marketing and affiliate channels.
• Work closely with our third party agency to communicate objectives, challenge performance and monitor the delivery of changes in strategy or activity.
• Work with online trading and the commercial teams to ensure that we deliver campaigns to effectively meet revenue targets whilst accurately representing our products and promotions.
• Provide recommendations for improvement to the wider team that relate to revenue and engagement opportunities through all paid marketing channels.
• Stay ahead of digital & paid marketing best practices and report this back into the wider team.

Youll also work closely with our Category and Online Trading teams, and strive to highlight top performing products, reporting on their performance and ensuring we remain competitive across our product range.This is primarily a remote-based role with visits to our office on an adhoc basis as required.You should be based in the UK and our Head Office is based in Crick, Northamptonshire.This means you could be from areas such as Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Chesterfield, Corby, Coventry, Hinckley, Kettering, Leamington Spa, Leeds, Leicester, London, Loughborough, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Northampton,Nuneaton, Oundle, Oxford, Peterborough, Rugby, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Warwick, Wellingborough.You:Youll live and breathe our customer-first ethos, with an analytical and data-driven approach. • Previous experience working within a Digital Marketing role with a Customer 1st Mentality.
• Ability to manage stakeholders around you and influence their decision making.
• Experience of working in tandem with a Digital Marketing Agency.
• Project & Budget responsibility.
• An understanding of Paid Media, SEO, Email and Affiliates.
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to make commercial decisions.
• A real team player.
