Digital Learning - Technical DesignerLocation: Regional across the East MidlandsHours per Week: Full Time, 37 hours per weekContract: PermanentSalary Scale: £32,673 - £34,578Closing Date: 28th March 2022 at 23:55An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Designer, to join our client on a full time, permanent basis, as part of their regional team.You will play a vital role in the development of the East Midlands Specialist Learning and Development Hub (EMSLDH) as you work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to create, develop and improve blended learning solutions, using 365 applications.Adopting a continuous improvement approach, you will support our clients digital by design concept with an aim of improving service delivery across the region.Working closely with Subject Matter Experts, you will develop learning intervention and associated design solutions and digital resources, whilst considering preferred learning styles to optimise audience engagement. This will include using your coding skillsto create and develop both internal and external websites, in line with the web development cycle.Your creativity and visual approach will be essential to ensure we design innovative learning and development intervention across a variety of channels, including web-based learning, mobile phone apps, instructional videos, interactive PDFs, interactivee-learning and webinars. You will address and satisfy agreed design briefs and specifications to the highest standards, from storyboarding to final production and everything in between.This is a great opportunity to use your autonomy and initiative to make decisions, whilst working proactively to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
