Job Description

Our clients are a fast-growing events management company providing experiences all across the world and are currently seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team. This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team, shape company policy, andplay a pivotal role in achieving our financial goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a young vibrant company with high ambitions.Job Title: Credit ControllerLocation: Enderby, LeicesterHours: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annumBenefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Utilise your 3 years of previous senior credit control experience to lead and inspire your team.
  • Debt Collection: Manage and oversee debt collection efforts, ensuring prompt payment from clients.
  • Reporting: Generate reports to provide insights into credit control performance.
  • Policy Development and Implementation:Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
  • Handling Time-Sensitive Issues: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling time-sensitive and pressure-intensive customer issues with composure.
  • CRM Management: Record all communications and interactions within our CRM system.
  • Customer Liaison: Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and internal staff to resolve payment issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Director and solicitors when necessary.
  • Work Schedules: Plan and review work schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met with high attention to detail.
  • Goal Setting: Set team goals and take proactive steps to achieve company financial targets.
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of previous experience in a senior credit control position
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Strong debt collection experience
  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis
  • Track record of successful policy development and implementation
  • Experience handling time-sensitive and pressure-intensive customer issues
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for communication recording
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed company goals
