Credit ControllerLeicester LE8PermanentFull time / Office basedThe OpportunityA privately owned and owner managed profit-making organisation and one of the most progressive machinery dealers in the country are looking for a high calibre, forward-thinking, energetic Credit Controller with a "can-do" attitude to fit right into a dynamicand committed workforce, where staff with long tenures operate with a huge degree of commitment and energy to ensure the long-term strategy to drive the business forward in ongoing success and growth.The RoleThis is a key role where you’ll own the credit management function. A standalone position but within a fully fledged finance dept, you’ll be reporting to and working closely with the FD and MD in the overall cash management of the business.Covering 500 client accounts, you’ll be managing credit control from end to end up to the legal aspects. Not only will you be chasing the debt, you’ll be raising invoices, allocating payments, negotiating payment plans and reconciling the sales ledger.The CandidateWe’re looking to engage with applicants who possess a strong background in credit control, essentially within a similar position where you’ve experienced being the “go to” for all things credit management. You’ll be a team player with excellent communicationsskills, system and process savvy able to achieve results through excellent relationships with internal and external customers of varying levels including Director level.The BenefitsSalary to £30k pending experience, parking onsite, 30 days holiday (inclusive of stat), life assurance, private medical and discount schemes.
